Board Members

The Aspen Consolidated Sanitation District is governed by a five-member Board that is elected from the overall population included in the District.  The board’s primary purpose is to set and help evaluate policies that affect the function of the District.  The District’s business is conducted at monthly (and rare special) meetings of the Board of Directors where Board input is received, discussed and acted upon collectively by the Board.  Monthly Board meeting agendas are posted on this site.

A Call For Nominations

 TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN, and particularly the electors of the Aspen Consolidated Sanitation District of Pitkin County Colorado.

 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an election will be held on the 6th day of May 2025, between the hours of 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM. At that time three directors will be elected to serve 4 year terms.  Eligible electors of the Aspen Consolidated Sanitation District interested in serving on the Board of Directors may obtain a Self-Nomination and Acceptance form from a District Designated Election Official (DEO).

 The office of the DEO is open on the following days: Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

The deadline to submit a Self-Nomination and Acceptance form is close of business on Friday, February 28,2025 (not less than 67 days before the election). 

Affidavit of Intent to be a Write-In Candidate form must be submitted to the office of the DEO by close of business on Monday, March 3, 2025 (64 days before the election).

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, an application for an absentee ballot shall be filed with the DEO no later than the close of business on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, preceding the election.
